Grade III winner Rogue Romance, who has not raced since the 2012 Stephen Foster Handicap (gr. I), registered his first work in more than a year on July 9 when he went three furlongs at Mercury Equine Center near Lexington.

Ron the Greek, charging through the stretch along the inside, came from off the pace to nip odds-on favorite Wise Dan at the wire in the Stephen Foster Handicap (gr. I) under the lights at Churchill Downs June 16.
Wise Dan, a four-time stakes winner last season, will begin his 2012 campaign in the $150,000 Ben Ali (gr. III) April 22 at Keeneland.
The Florida Derby (gr. I) and its five supporting graded stakes will be the highlights of the March 31 card at Gulfstream Park, but the first race of the day features an interesting allowance race at one mile.
Rogue Romance will miss the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) with a fracture in his left forefoot, trainer Ken McPeek reported March 18.
Catesby W. Clay's Rogue Romance has sustained a slight heel bruise and will miss his scheduled workout this weekend as well as his intended start in the $1 million Louisiana Derby (gr. II) on March 26.

Risen Star Stakes (gr. II) winner Mucho Macho Man will be returning from his Gulfstream Park home base to run in the $1 million Louisiana Derby (gr. II) on March 26, trainer Kathy Ritvo confirmed March 3.
Trainer Ken McPeek, who saddled Rogue Romance to run third in the Risen Star Stakes (gr. II) Feb. 19, said that the colt would be returning to Fair Grounds to run back in the Louisiana Derby (gr. II) next month.
