Brothers Alain and Gerard Wertheimer went to $825,000 for Just Reward (by Deputy Minister), the dam of grade I winner Persistently, during the Nov. 8 session of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale.

Life At Life At Ten, who had a six-race win streak stopped in the Personal Ensign Stakes (gr. I) in her last start, will take on the Personal Ensign winner and four other rivals in the Beldame Stakes Oct. 2.

Persistently lived up to her name when she wore down reigning Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra in the $300,000 Personal Ensign Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga Aug. 29.
Rachel Alexandra will make her first foray into grade I company since defeating older males in the Woodward Stakes last September when she takes on four fillies and mares as the 2-5 favorite in the $300,000 Personal Ensign.
Dual grade I winner Stardom Bound heads an accomplished field of nicely-matched fillies set for the Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) at Santa Anita Park.

Jeffrey Puglisi's Sky Diva won the $400,000 Frizette Stakes (gr.I) Oct. 4 at Belmont Park and earned herself a starting berth to the $2 million Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr.I) Oct. 24 at Santa Anita.
Trainer Tom Albertrani is looking forward to taking big steps with Gemswick Park and Royal Ballade in the $400,000 Frizette Stakes (gr.I) Oct. 4 at Belmont Park. Gemswick Park, owned and bred by Eugene Melnyk, and the Darley-owned Royal Ballade, are coming off open-length maiden wins at Belmont Sept. 14. Both fillies led from gate-to-wire.
Doremifasollatido saved ground early, moved into contention while splitting horses at the top of the stretch and pulled away for a two-length victory in the $250,000 Matron (gr. II) Sept. 13 on the Belmont dirt.
