Emerald Beech overhauled pacesetter Dynaslew past mid-stretch to register her fourth consecutive victory by 1 1/2 lengths in the $102,000 Glens Falls (gr. IIIT), the final stakes event of the 2011 Saratoga season Sept. 5.
Aviate and Aruna, who ran one-two at Churchill Downs earlier this year, will square off again in a competitive edition of the $500,000 Diana (gr. IT) July 30 at Saratoga.
Giants Play took advantage of an unpressured lead in the early going and had just enough to hold off Zagora to notch her first stakes victory in the $150,000 New York (gr. IIT) June 25 at Belmont Park.
Hibaayeb and Giants Play, the top two finishers in the Sheepshead Bay (gr. IIT), will square off again in $150,000 New York Stakes (gr. IIT) for fillies and mares at Belmont Park June 25.
Grade I winner Hibaayeb used her class edge to help secure her first victory of the season, as she defeated five rivals to take the $150,000 Sheepshead Bay (gr. IIT) May 28 at Belmont Park.
