Ridden patiently by Shaun Bridgmohan, Kodiak Kowboy swept past Bribon and Vineyard Haven in deep stretch to win the $300,000 Hill 'n' Dale Cigar Mile Handicap (gr. I) by three-quarters of a length at Aqueduct Nov. 28. He has now been retired from racing and will enter stud in 2010 at Tom Simon’s Vinery near Lexington.

Buddy's Saint turned the $200,000 Remsen Stakes (gr. II) into a romp, winning by 4 3/4 lengths over 20-1 longshot Peppi Knows.

Flashing, thought to be making the final start of her career, popped the gate in front and never looked back, drawing away from Unrivaled Belle through the stretch drive to easily win the $300,000 Gazelle Stakes (gr. I) by 4 1/4 lengths at Aqueduct Nov. 28.

On Nov. 28, Ventura captured the $300,000 Matriarch in a stakes record time by 1 3/4 lengths.
