Turning Top became a graded stakes winner in her first try at 10 furlongs when she ran down longshot pacesetter Princess Taylor en route to a one-length victory in the $100,000 Beverly Hills Handicap (gr. IIIT) on the turf at Hollywood Park June 26.


Aidan O’Brien-trained runners finished one-two-three as Cape Blanco held off stablemate Midas Touch by a half-length to capture the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby (Ire-I) at the Curragh June 27.
