Pretty Prolific rallied from far back and got up in the final jump to win a thrilling three-way photo finish in the $100,000 Sugar Swirl (gr. III) Jan. 9 at Gulfstream Park.

Frequent traveler Duke of Mischief outfought Kiss the Kid and favored Mambo Meister to win the off-the-turf $100,000 Ft. Lauderdale Stakes by a neck at Gulfstream Park Jan. 10.

A Little Warm followed up his impressive maiden-breaking score with a victory in his stakes debut, as he came from off the pace and splashed home to a†1 1/2-length†win in the $100,000 Spectacular Bid Stakes Jan. 9 at rainy Gulfstream Park.

In the Spectacular Bidís sister race, the grade III Old Hat Stakes for 3-year-old fillies, Richiegirlgonewild pulled a shocker when she wired the field for a 31-1 upset under Timothy Thornton.

Seven-year-old Neko Bay earned the first graded stakes victory of his career in the $150,000 San Pasqual Handicap (gr. II), winning a dash to the wire in the final sixteenth of a mile at Santa Anita Jan. 9.
