    The 60th season of racing at Turf Paradise kicks off Oct. 17, with a new track announcer and a stakes schedule totaling $1.45 million during the 136-day stand that ends May 8, 2016.

    Phoenix-based Tie Rod duplicated his success in the Rattlesnake Stakes last month with a 2 3/4-length victory in the $100,000 Turf Paradise Derby for 3-year-olds Saturday.

  • Robledo Overcomes Trouble to Beat Siberland

    Boxed in for much of the way, Push Push Stable's Robledo, with jockey David Flores showing the way, was able to get outside of 3-10 favorite Siberland and win the duel to the wire in Saturday's $100,000 Turf Paradise Derby in Phoenix.

  • Siberland Heads Turf Paradise Derby Cast

    Hall of Fame jockey Laffit Pincay, Jr., with more than 9,500 career wins, as well as Siberland, who has aspirations for the Kentucky Derby (gr. I), are among the featured attractions at Turf Paradise Saturday.
