A compact but quality field led by top sprinters Delaunay and Gentlemen's Bet will line up Aug. 4 for the $400,000 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap (gr. I), which has attracted just five older horses.
Following a half-mile work over the main track at Saratoga July 20, Mylute was confirmed as a starter for the $600,000 Jim Dandy (gr. II). So Many Ways and Delaunay were also on the tab for trainer Tom Amoss.
Former claimer Delaunay increased his win streak to six when he swept past Trinniberg at the head of the stretch and prevailed by an easy four lengths over a sloppy track in the May 4 Churchill Downs Stakes (gr. II).

Withers Stakes (gr. III) winner Revolutionary heads a group of 13 sophomores considered probable for the 100th running of the Louisiana Derby (gr. II) at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots March 30.
Believe You Can blew away the competition in the $150,000 New Orleans Ladies March 9 at Fair Grounds, posting her second straight win off the layoff; the $150,000 Duncan F. Kenner went to Delaunay for owner Maggi Moss.
Jockey Richard Eramia, leading the rider standings at Harrah's Louisiana Downs, earned his 1,000th North American victory when he guided 3-5 favorite Shave and Pave to victory in the fourth race Aug. 31,
Gantry remained perfect at six furlongs, winning his sixth straight at that distance and winning easily in the Smile Sprint after a third to monsters Shackleford and Amazombie at Churchill Downs.
Trinniberg, Field Commission, and Gantry are highweighted trio in the six-furlong Smile Sprint (gr. II), the $400,000 highlight of Calder Race Course and Casino's Summit of Speed card July 7.
The Kentucky Derby undercard features a top-notch sprint at seven furlongs with millionaires Amazombie, Shackleford, and Smiling Tiger.

After establishing a course record at Belmont Park three weeks ago, Gantry will face stakes competition for the first time when he competes in the $100,000 Jaipur (gr. IIIT) at Belmont Park July 16.
Gantry set a Belmont Park inner turf course record June 23, covering six furlongs in 1:06.87 when winning a $52,000 optional claimer for 3-year-olds and up.
