A filly by Lucky Pulpit and a colt by Justin Phillip recorded the fastest times at the Barretts under-tack preview at Del Mar March 27. The filly worked a furlong in :09 4/5, followed by the colt who worked a quarter-mile in :20 3/5.
In his final move in advance of the Feb. 25 $400,000 Risen Star Stakes (G2), Guest Suite stated his readiness for his next challenge on the Triple Crown trail, covering four furlongs in a bullet :48 at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots Feb. 21.
Guest Suite trained perfectly up to the Jan. 21 Lecomte Stakes (G3), then won it.
