Trainer Todd Pletcher is awaiting the results of a New York stewards hearing concerning a positive drug test for a horse he ran last summer at Saratoga. Tales of Glory was found to have the banned substance mepivacaine in his system after the race.

Taking advantage of lucrative purses for Maryland-bred stakes races, trainer Richard Dutrow Jr. sent Aggadan to Pimlico for his last three races. But with the $100,000 Aqueduct Handicap (gr. III) to be run on Aggadan's home track at 1 1/16 miles, the 6-year-old horse will make his next start in that race Saturday.

Fred F. Bradley's homebred maiden Brass Hat, ridden by Jason Lumpkins, took command in the stretch and rolled to an easy 3 3/4-length victory over a suspect field of 3-year-olds in the $100,000 Rushaway Stakes at Turfway Park.
