Six-year-old gelding Sea Dub posted the biggest upset in a Lone Star Park stakes race when he ran down 9-5 favorite Fullbridled in the final strides of Saturday's $200,000 Dallas Turf Cup in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Hero's Tribute to Buck Pond

Hero's Tribute, a 6-year-old son of Sea Hero--Eastern Dawn, by Damascus, has been retired from racing and will stand the 2005 breeding season at Doug Arnold's Buck Pond Farm near Versailles, Ky. The three-time stakes winner, who arrived at the farm Sept. 11, will stand for a fee of $5,000.

Glowing Tribute, the dam of Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Sea Hero and six other major stakes winners, died Aug. 5 of colic. One of the top broodmares of recent times, the 31-year-old daughter of Graustark was owned by John R. Gaines at the time of her death.
