Fox Hill Farms' reigning Horse of the Year Havre de Grace continued her string of sharp works with a six-furlong drill in 1:11 2/5 at Fair Grounds March 5 in preparation for her 2012 debut in the New Orleans Ladies March 17.
Instead of shipping the mare to Oaklawn Park for her season debut in the $150,000 Azeri (gr. III) on March 17, Horse of the Year Havre de Grace will stay at Fair Grounds for the New Orleans Ladies Stakes on the same day.

Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra worked an easy half-mile in :50.40 at Fair Grounds the morning of March 22 in her first timed move since her narrow loss to Arnold Zetcher's Zardana in the New Orleans Ladies March 13.

Horse of the Year recorded her first in-company work of 2010, and her second to last scheduled move before an expected start in the March 13 New Orleans Ladies Handicap.
