Lael Stable's Lentenor, a full brother to 2006 Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Barbaro, returned to racing with third-place finish in a $36,000 allowance at Delaware Park Aug. 24.
La Ville Rouge produced another full brother to Barbaro March 10 at Mill Ridge Farm near Lexington. The colt, who was born at 10:45 p.m. and weighs 142 pounds, is by Dynaformer.
Precious Kitten, who ran second in the Nov. 30 Matriarch Stakes (gr. IT) at Hollywood Park, is off to the breeding shed.
Trainer Barclay Tagg will attempt to saddle consecutive winners of the Mrs. Revere Stakes (gr. IIT) when he sends out multiple graded stakes winner My Princess Jess in the 1 1/16-mile turf event Nov. 8 at Churchill Downs.
Showing Up, a millionaire and multiple grade I winner for Roy and Gretchen Jackson's Lael Stables, has been retired from racing and will stand in 2009 at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs South near Williston, Fla.
IEAH Stables' grade I winners Ariege and Pure Clan are the headliners in a contentious field of eight 3-year-old fillies vying for the $250,000 Garden City Stakes (gr. IT) Sept. 6 on the Belmont turf, but there is plenty of tough competition in the nine-furlong test.
There are moves and then there are huge moves. On June 28 in the Boiling Springs Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Monmouth Park, My Princess Jess made a "huge" move. But she then had to hold off the late-charging Much Obliged to get the victory.
Pussycat Doll, a grade I winner three separate years, has been retired from racing because of a foot abscess. Owned by Roy and Gretchen Jackson, she has been bred to Ghostzapper and pronounced in foal.

Stakes winner Holy Ground, a half-brother to Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner Barbaro, will enter stud at Arthur I. Appleton's Bridlewood Farm near Ocala, Fla.
