Martin Racing Stable's Jody Slew took another step toward her date in the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) with a four-furlong work in :50 over a "fast" track at Churchill Downs on April 16.

Four contenders for the $500,000-added Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) at Churchill Downs April 30 turned in workouts at Churchill Downs over the past three days.
Quiet Temper, owner Mark Stanley's star 3-year-old filly, got up to win the March 26 Fair Grounds Oaks (gr. II) by a half-length as the favorite over pacesetter Champage d'Oro.
Ailalea, clearly best in Aqueduct's Tempted Stakes (gr. III) Nov. 7 in the final start of her juvenile campaign, is the lukewarm 3-1 morning line choice for the $300,000 Fair Grounds Oaks (gr. II) March 26.
Martin Racing Stable and Dan Morgan's Jody Slew is now considered "unlikely" to compete in the March 26 Fair Grounds Oaks (gr. II).
Brett Calhoun, who purchased Jody Slew after her third-place effort in the Carressing Handicap at Churchill Downs, said the filly just keeps improving.

Four contenders from the Jan. 23 Tiffany Lass Stakes at Fair Grounds -- including winner Jody Slew -- are set to meet again in the Silverbulletday Stakes (gr. III) at the New Orleans, La. track Feb. 20.
