West Point Joins NTRA as Industry Sponsor

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association Nov. 10 announced that West Point Thoroughbreds -- a horse racing partnerships corporation based in Mount Laurel, N.J. -- has become a member of the NTRA Industry Sponsor program.

Handicapping Contest Prizes to $2 Million

Godolphin Seven Stars Contest Opens

A luxury trip for two to the 2003 Dubai World Cup and $150,000 cash are the top prize in Godolphin's 2002 Seven Stars Competition, a free-to-enter on-line racing contest. The competition began accepting entries Friday and continues through March 22 at www.godolphin.com.

McGee Enters Handicapping Contest for Charity

Daily Racing Form correspondent Marty McGee will be competing for two charities in Gulfstream Park's inaugural Turf-Vivor Thoroughbred handicapping contest that began Friday. Any money McGee wins will go a special fund for Robert Williams, who lost his family in a car accident Feb. 15, and the Jockeys' Guild Disabled Jockeys Fund.
