Trainer Cliff Sise confirmed May 18 that Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) pacesetter Danzing Candy has been transferred to the barn of Bob Baffert.
Danzing Candy on April 30 breezed through five furlongs in :59 4/5, with a gallop out to six furlongs in 1:13 2/5, in his final timed workout for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).
Back where he first learned to be a racehorse at San Luis Rey Training Center, Danzing Candy put in a surprisingly fast workout—at least to trainer Cliff Sise—in his first drill since his fourth-place finish the Santa Anita Derby (gr. I).
Danzing Candy is heading to Kentucky, but trainer Cliff Sise is going to alter the Twirling Candy colt's training schedule a bit in preparation for the May 7 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I).

Dakota Phone, winner of the 2010 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (gr. I) at Churchill Downs, has been retired from racing and sent to Jenny Craig's Rancho Paseana Training Center near Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.
Longshot Dakota Phone runs down Morning Line to win the $909,000 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (gr. I) by a nose. The winner is a gelded son of Zavata out of World of Gold, by Spinning World.
Dakota Phone, last heading into the final turn, took the overland route to a neck victory in the $200,000 San Diego Handicap (gr. II) at Del Mar July 31, snapping a 16-race losing streak.
Last at the quarter-pole, Evita Argentina charged while extremely wide in the stretch to mow down the field and earn her first grade I win in the $300,000 La Brea Stakes at Santa Anita Dec. 26.
Evita Argentina charged from last to post a two-length victory in the $150,000 A Gleam Handicap (gr. II) at Hollywood Park July 18 to become the first 3-year-old to win the race since Honeymoon in 1946.
Compared to Stardom Bound, the 3-year-old filly Evita Argentina found the nine males she faced in the $150,000 San Vicente Stakes (gr. II) easy pickings at stormy Santa Anita Feb. 16.
Evita Argentina, the only graded stakes winner in the $111,100 Moccasin for 2-year-old fillies, surged from last on the turn to defeat favored Mi Chiamano Mimi Nov. 16 at smoky Hollywood Park.
