    Hobeau Farm's 4-year-old filly Swap Fliparoo signaled her readiness for Saturday's $300,000 Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Sprint with a three-furlong :35 2/5 blowout Wednesday morning at Gulfstream Park under jockey Javier Castellano.

  • Trombetta OK After Kick From Exuberant 'Saint

    Trainer Michael Trombetta was sore but joking Jan. 25 after his 4-year-old gelding Sweetnorthernsaint, the favorite for the $1 million Sunshine Millions Classic at Gulfstream Park, kicked him in the chest two days earlier.

  • 1970 Kentucky Derby Trophy on eBay

    An authentic replication of the 1970 Kentucky Derby trophy is being offered on eBay. After Dust Commander won the race, his owner, the late Robert Lehmann, received special permission from Churchill Downs to have a duplicate made. The original was donated by his family to the Kentucky Derby Museum last year.
