Delaware Park Quarantine Over

The Delaware Racing Commission Veterinarian's Office advised Tuesday morning that all 35 horses that were previously quarantined have been cleared for the bacterial disease Streptococcus Equi based on two negative tests.

Hall Pass

By Ray Paulick - There have been a number of critics (notably in the media) who have said the National Museum of Racing's Hall of Fame needed a change in election procedures that each year designated inductees in jockey, trainer, male horse, and female horse categories. They wouldn't name names publicly, but these critics charged that the Hall of Fame was electing too many individuals who simply did not belong.

Youbet Shareholders Elect Donn, Liebau as Directors

Youbet.com shareholders have elected R. Douglas Donn, former CEO of Gulfstream Park Racing Association, and F. Jack Liebau, president of Bay Meadows Racing Association, to serve on the company's board of directors.
