Average improved six percent at this year's Heritage Place Thoroughbred mixed sale Dec. 14 in Oklahoma City, Okla., where 94 horses sold for an average price of $2,097.

Gross receipts reached $197,100, down 13.3 percent compared with last year, which was the first year the sale was conducted.

This year's sale topper was A Warrior Defined, a yearling colt by C'Mon Tiger purchased by Diana Bringhurst for $10,000 from consignor JEH Stallion Station. C'Mon Tiger is out of the winning, stakes-placed Stravinsky mare Inomuff.
