In anticipation of bad weather, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course and Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races have canceled live racing for the evening of Nov. 26.

The forecast calls for a 100% chance of a mix of rain and snow throughout the day and night in Central Pennsylvania and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Precipitation is expected to continue part of the day Nov. 27.

Live racing is scheduled to resume at Penn National Nov. 27 with the Thanksgiving Eve Racing Festival, which features the $250,000 Fabulous Strike Handicap and a charity food drive. First post is scheduled for 6 p.m. EST.

The Fabulous Strike, for 3-year-olds and up at six furlongs, is carded as the fourth race with a 7:22 p.m. post time. It's the final leg of an all-stakes Pick 4 that includes the $75,000 Blue Mountain Juvenile Fillies for Pennsylvania-bred runners; the $150,000 Lady in Waiting Stakes for fillies and mares; and the $150,000 Swatara Stakes for 3-year-olds and up.

Charles Town expects to offer its nine-race card Nov. 27. First post time is set for 7:15 p.m. EST.
