Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 210 selected entries for the November sale, its premier mixed sale to be held in Lexington Nov. 4. The number will likely increase, however, as the sale company will look at additional high-profile entries through the Nov. 1-2 Breeders' Cup World Championships.
"We have a truly superb catalogue for the November sale and it would be impossible to single out individuals," said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning in a release. "Buyers will choose from 24 grade I winners or producers and 59 graded stakes winners or producers in a single session over several hours, not days.
"There are some international 'first of their kind' situations among the breeding stock on offer," added Browning. "Last year's weanlings sold exceptionally well, which has allowed us to recruit 67 selected foals this year, with many by stallions you find at the head of national sire listings and sales statistics. This is going to be a very exciting and productive sale, and the supplemental entries will add to an already sterling catalog."
Print catalogs will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices by Oct. 14. The online catalog is now available and will be continuously updated as additional entries are accepted, with supplemental catalog pages distributed at Fasig-Tipton once horses are on the grounds.
Additionally, Fasig-Tipton will once again offer its popular "Enhanced Catalog," which may be accessed via mobile phone, tablet, or desktop computer. It provides updated catalog pages and updated Daily Racing Form past performances as they occur, as well as race replays, news stories, photos, and statistics.
The single-session November Sale will begin at 4 pm.
