Museum Announces Reward for Stolen Trophies

The National Musem of Racing and Hall of Fame announced Sept. 24 the offer of a $20,000 reward from the StarNet Insurance Company for information leading to the recovery of stolen property and arrest and conviction of parties involved in the museum's Sept. 12 burglary.

The missing trophies are:

1903 Belmont Stakes Trophy, won by Africander

1903 Brighton Cup Trophy, won by Hermis

—1905 Saratoga Special Trophy, won by Mohawk II

914 Brook Cup Handicap Steeplechase Trophy, won by Compliment

1923 Grand National Steeplechase Trophy, won by Sergeant Murphy
