Nat Rea's Regis Farms secured an Unbridled's Song colt for $1.1 million Sept. 9 in the first session of the Keeneland September yearling sale.

The colt was the fourth yearling to sell for $1 million or more about halfway through the first session.

"He's a smashing horse, and I don't need to say anything about Unbridled's Song," said Richard Hogan, agent for Nat Rea. "It's the kind of horse that could be a graded stakes winner, and then you could stand him."

Consigned by Bedouin Bloodstock, agent, the colt (hip 110) is out of grade I winner Irish Smoke, by Smoke Glacken. The colt was bred in Kentucky by SF Bloodstock.
