A look through the 2013 Keeneland September catalog shows the usual depth of promising yearlings. This list spotlights yearlings out of grade I-winning mares who already have produced at least one stakes winner.
The combination of those two requirements brings up a list of 22 yearlings, 13 who will be offered in the first four sessions as part of the first catalog. Following is a list of those 13 yearlings. The other nine yearlings will be spotlighted before the beginning of the second catalog.

Hip 98, colt by Giant's Causeway—Imagine, by Sadler's Wells
Consigned by Eaton Sales, agent, Giant's Causeway colt is out of Irish One Thousand Guineas (Ire-I) winner Imagine, who has produced 2005 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere-Grand Criterium (Fr-I) winner Horatio Nelson and group II winners Viscount Nelson and Kitty Matcham.
Hip 115, filly by Henrythenavigator—Jewel Princess, by Key to the Mint Among the four grade I victories by Jewel Princess was the 1996 Breeders' Cup Distaff at Woodbine, which helped her secure champion older mare honors that season. She has produced a stakes winner in colt One Nice Cat and two graded stakes-placed fillies. This Henrythenavigator filly is consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, agent.
Hip 151, filly by Tiznow—Lazy Slusan, by Slewvescent
Two-time grade I winner Lazy Slusan has produced grade I winner Last Full Measure, an Empire Maker filly who won this year's Madison Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland. Lazy Slusan boasts three winners from her first four starters. This Tiznow filly is consigned by Lane's End, agent.
Hip 183, colt by Malibu Moon—Madcap Escapade, by Hennessy
Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale, Malibu Moon colt is out of Madcap Escapade, winner of the 2004 Ashland Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland. Madcap Escapade has produced at the highest level as her Pulpit filly Mi Sueno won the 2009 Darley Debutante Stakes (gr. I) at Del Mar.
Hip 459, colt by Speightstown—Sleepytime, by Royal Academy English classic winner Sleepytime has produced group III winner Gentleman's Deal, group III-placed Spanish Harlem, and Perfect Sting, a stakes winner at Belmont Park. The Speightstown colt out of the 1997 Pertemps One Thousand Guineas winner is consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency.
Hip 541, filly by Indian Charlie—Take Charge Lady, by Dehere
Just weeks after Will Take Charge became the second grade I winner for Take Charge Lady, her filly from the final crop of Indian Charlie will be offered, consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, agent. A three-time grade I winner at Keeneland, Take Charge Lady, by Dehere, produced last year's Florida Derby winner, Take Charge Indy, and this year's Travers Stakes (gr. I) winner, Will Take Charge.
Hip 583, colt by Candy Ride—Twist Afleet, by Afleet
Consigned by Lane's End, agent, colt is out of two-time grade I winner Twist Afleet, by Afleet. Twist Afleet has produced stakes winner A New Twist, grade 2-placed Awesome Twist, and stakes-placed Shafted and Fleet Deputy.
Hip 745, filly by Fastnet Rock—Cash Run, by Seeking the Gold
Winner of the 1999 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I), Cash Run has produced Great War Eagle. Cash Run is a half sister to Forestry. Cash Run's 2007 Giant's Causeway colt, Step In Time, earned Horse of the Year honors in Saudi Arabia; and her 2009 Galileo colt, Move Your Vision, was an imported champion in the Slovak Republic. This Fastnet Rock filly is consigned by Paramount Sales.
Hip 828, colt by Hard Spun—Desert Stormer, by Storm Cat
Hidden Brook consigns this colt by young sire Hard Spun out of grade I winner Desert Stormer, a Storm Cat mare who has produced grade II winner Sahara Gold and stakes-placed Ensenada. Sahara Gold has produced grade I winner Better Lucky and grade III winner Sahara Heat. Ensenada has produced grade II winner Casino Host.
Hip 842, filly by Eskendereya—Dream of Summer, Siberian Summer
Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, has consigned this filly from new sire Eskendereya. The first three starters for 2005 Apple Blossom Handicap (gr. I) winner Dream of Summer are all winners, including classic-placed Creative Cause, by Giant's Causeway, who as a juvenile won the 2011 Norfolk Stakes (gr. I).
Hip 843, filly by Distorted Humor—Dream Rush, by Wild Rush A two-time grade I winner on the track, Dream Rush also delivered with her first foal, spectacular grade I winner Dreaming of Julia, by A.P. Indy. At 2 Dreaming of Julia won the Frizette Stakes (gr. I) at Belmont Park and this year she won the Gulfstream Park Oaks (gr. II) by 21 3/4 lengths. This Distorted Humor filly is consigned by Three Chimneys Sales, agent for Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings.
Hip 846, Gold Shield, colt by Medaglia d'Oro—Dream Supreme, by Seeking the Gold
This Medaglia d'Oro colt, named Gold Shield, is out of the two-time grade I winner Dream Supreme, who has been just as impressive as a broodmare as the dam of grade I winner and successful young sire Majestic Warrior, and stakes winners Evolutionist and Crystal Current. Consigned by Lane's End, agent for Kinsman Farm, this colt's second dam is grade I winner Spinning Round, by Dixieland Band.
Hip 859, colt by Fastnet Rock—Eliza, by Mt. Livermore Michael C. Byrne, agent, has consigned this Fastnet Rock colt out of 1992 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (gr. I) winner and champion juvenile filly Eliza, by Mt. Livermore. Eliza has produced eight winners, including stakes winner and group II-placed Samuel Morse and grade II-placed Miss Doolittle, dam of Florida Derby winner Dialed In and stakes winner Broadway Gold.
