The Medaglia d'Oro   filly that was the top-priced offering at last year's Fasig-Tipton Saratoga select yearling sale is approaching her career debut for multiple Eclipse Award-winning trainer Todd Pletcher.

Named Wait No More, the Florida-bred filly was bought by Pletcher for $1,575,000 for an unnamed client from the consignment of Three Chimneys Sales, agent for breeder Arindel Farm.

Alan and Karen Cohen's Arindel campaigned the filly's dam, Wait a While, the champion 3-year-old filly of 2006 trained by Pletcher .

Wait No More, a striking gray/roan filly, has breezed at Saratoga Race Course eight times since June 5, the most recent being a five-furlong work in 1:00.90 July 29 over the turf training course. The filly's past four works have all been over the grass training course and Pletcher said Wait No More will make her first start on turf.

"She has been working regularly and could start at Saratoga," Pletcher said in a text message.

Pletcher remained evasive about the filly's owner, noting the "owner will be known soon."
