Two Graded Stakes Mares Added to F-T Sale

Two more graded stakes-winning mares have been added to the horses of racing age session of the Fasig-Tipton sale in Lexington July 15.
Hip No. 386 is Dr. Diamonds Prize, a 5-year-old daughter of Pure Prize who is from the family of Affirmed. Out of the Clever Trick mare Miss Mary Apples, Dr. Diamonds Prize captured the 2010 Gowell Stakes at Turfway Park and placed in the 2012 Hendrie (gr. II) at Woodbine. She has earned nearly $241,000.
Hip No. 387 is Silver Screamer, who most recently ran fifth in the Fairy Garden Stakes on grass at Belmont Park July 4. The 5-year-old daughter of Cozzene--West Sider, by Gone West won the 2012 Eatontown Handicap (gr. IIIT) at Monmouth Park and the Lady Baltimore Stakes at Laurel Park. Silver Screamer, who also placed in the 2012 Noble Damsel Stakes (gr. IIIT) at Belmont, has earned $314,245.
The 87 entries in the horses of racing age session of the sale will be offered immediately after the conclusion of the session of 258 selected yearlings, which begins at 10 a.m.
