Barbara Banke, who operates Stonestreet Stables, and retired broadcaster Charlsie Cantey have been appointed to the board of trustees of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

The appointments were announced May 1 by museum president Stella F. Thayer.

Banke and her late husband, Jess Jackson, built Jackson Family Wines and established Stonestreet, a prominent racing and breeding entity. Among the horses campaigned by Stonestreet were Curlin   and Rachel Alexandra, both Horse of the Year award winners.

Cantey, who has previously worked as an exercise rider and Thoroughbred trainer, has worked for CBS Sports, ABC Sports, ESPN, and NBC Sports among others. She retired from broadcasting following her coverage of the 2005 Breeders' Cup World Championships.
