Macho Uno, champion 2-year-old male of 2000 when he won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) and fourth-place finisher in last year's Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I), is currently training at Gulfstream. "I got him from the farm in Ocala about a week ago," trainer Joe Orseno said. "He's been going to the track everyday. He's about four to six weeks away from a race." Oaklawn Park and TVG have reached a non-exclusive agreement to add the Arkansas track to the network's list of tracks ... Florida Thoroughbred Charities raised $215,000 at its live and silent auctions Jan. 13-14. Stallions seasons sold for $152,350, and silent auction items raised $64,826. The monies are donated to local, state, and national charities and organizations ... The Turf Publicists of America announced Monday that the Big Sport of Turfdom luncheon, sponsored by United Tote, will be held Feb. 18 at the Wyndham Miami Beach Resort, near the Fontainebleau Hilton Resort where the 31st annual Eclipse Awards ceremony will be held that same night. The festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. (ET) and the luncheon and presentation of the Big Sport of Turfdom Award to Laura Hillenbrand, author of the best-selling "Seabiscuit: An American Legend" begin at 12:30 p.m.... With only three favorites victorious on Sunday's nine-race card at Santa Anita, there was one winning Pick Six ticket, worth $166,497.20; 19 tickets had five correct, for a $33,755.40 payoff each... The 139-day meet at Delaware Park begins April 27 and will conclude Nov. 17. Racing will be conducted on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Wednesdays will be added starting on May 22 and continue through Oct. 9. With a 12:45 p.m. (ET) first-race daily post time, the track is offering free general admission and parking for the meet.
