Warrior's Reward Sires First Foal

The first reported foal by grade I winner Warrior's Reward   is a filly born Jan. 18 at Gary Biszantz’ Cobra Farm near Lexington. Bred by Cobra farm manager Mike Owens and his wife, Jeanne, the filly is out of the Political Folly mare Sweet Politics, a half sister to stakes winner/producer Sweet Minister.

Winner of the 2010 Carter Handicap (gr. I), Warrior’s Reward (Medaglia d'Oro  —For All You Do, by Seeking the Gold) stands at B. Wayne Hughes’ Spendthrift Farm near Lexington. His 2012 fee is $15,000.
