The catalog for the Edward P. Evans Estate’s complete dispersal is available online at Keeneland’s website (www.keeneland.com). The more than 200 horses, including recent Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I) winner Buster's Ready, will be sold without reserve through Will Farish’s Lane’s End during Keeneland’s September yearling and November breeding stock sales in Lexington.

The yearling auction will start Sept. 11 and the breeding stock sale will begin Nov. 6.

Evans, who died last Dec. 31, bred more than 100 stakes winners, including 2005 Horse of the Year Saint Liam and multiple grade I winner Quality Road  . For more than 40 years, Evans operated Spring Hill Farm in Virginia and he was among the nation’s top owners and breeders.

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association named Evans the Virginia breeder of the year nine times, most recently in 2009. That year the organization also honored him as national breeder of the year. In 2010, Evans ranked seventh among North American owners with stable earnings of $3.6 million.

Quality Road, who will not be part of the dispersal, will continue to stand at Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky.

Proceeds from the dispersal will go to the Edward P. Evans Charitable Foundation.
