Service Stripe to Caines Stallion Station

Service Stripe, who has sired 32 stakes horses, will be relocated to C.L. and Ellen Caines’ Caines Stallion Station near Wynnewood, Okla.

Service Stripe, who formerly stood at Robert Zoellner’s Rockin Z Ranch near Beggs, Okla., is represented by 17 stakes winners and the earners of more than $14.1 million. His stakes winners include grade I winner Cashier’s Dream, Canadian champion Field Commission, and 17-time stakes winner Secret Romeo.

A multiple stakes winner, 20-year-old Service Stripe (Deputy Minister—Wedding Picture, by Blushing Groom) will stand in 2012 for $1,000.

Fast Play, a  grade I winner and a half brother to grade I winner and major sire Seeking the Gold, has been pensioned at Rockin Z.

A 25-year-old son of Seattle Slew, Fast Play is represented by 45 stakes horses and the earners of more than $15.3 million. His runners include English and Irish champion Lucayan Prince and four graded stakes winners.

Campaigned as a homebred by Ogden Phipps, Fast Play was a leading 2-year-old of 1988, winning the Remsen Stakes (gr. I) and the Breeders’ Futurity (gr. II) and placing in the Hopeful Stakes (gr. I) and the Futurity Stakes (gr. I).

Fast Play, who also is a half brother to grade III winner Stacked Pack, was produced from the Buckpasser mare Con Game.
