Juvenile champion Uncle Mo   put in a half-mile move in :48 4/5 at Palm Meadows for trainer Todd Pletcher March 6 in preparation for his fast-approaching 3-year-old debut at Gulfsteam Park.

Repole Stable's Uncle Mo is expected to run March 12 in the $100,000 Timely Writer Stakes, a one-mile event for 3-year-olds. The son of Uncle Charlie has not been out since his dominating 4 1/4-length victory in the Grey Goose Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I) Nov. 6 at Churchill Downs.

Pletcher, who won three stakes with three starters at Aqueduct March 5, including Stay Thirsty   in the $250,000 Gotham Stakes (gr. III) for 3-year-olds, was back at Palm Meadows the next morning to supervise workouts of several of his horses.
