Following is a list of horses that could bring high prices, based on their pedigrees and/or comments from horsemen, during the first session of the Keeneland’s horses of all ages sale Jan. 11 in Lexington:

Hip No. 3, yearling filly, Van Nistelrooy– Sahara Star, by Green Desert. Consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent. Produced from a mare that was a group III winner in England, this filly is a half-sister to English group II winner Land of Dreams (by Cadeaux Genereux), who is the dam of English added-money winner Into the Dark (by Rainbow Quest).

Hip No. 9, yearling filly, Medaglia d'Oro   – Seattle Shimmer, by Seattle Slew. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. “She’s a big, leggy filly,” said Taylor Made’s Mark Taylor of this dark bay or brown yearling, whose second dam, Gold Gale, is a stakes winner. The filly’s sire is one of the hottest stallions in the world with an Eclipse Award finalist in the sensational classic winner Rachel Alexandra, who could be the 2009 Horse of the Year.

Hip No. 16, yearling colt, Mr. Greeley – Shine Again, by Wild Again. Consigned by Walnut Green, agent for the Bohemia Stable dispersal. This dark bay or brown yearling’s dam was a grade I winner.

Hip No. 17, Shiny Band, 12 yo mare, Dixieland Band – Shiner, by Two Punch. Consigned by Walnut Green, agent for the Bohemia Stable dispersal. This grade II winner is in foal to Harlan's Holiday, and she is a half-sister to grade I winner Shine Again (by Wild Again).

Hip No. 37, Spherical, 4yo filly, Storm Cat– City Band, by Carson City. Consigned by Three Chimneys Sales, agent. This young bay is out of a grade I winner, and she also is a full sister to  added-money winner Weather Warning and winner Storm Tide, the dam of Hollywood Prevue Stakes (gr. III) winner American Lion  . Spherical is also a half-sister to stakes winner Foolishly (by Broad Brush). She is in foal to the prominent sire Distorted Humor  .

Hip No. 21, yearling colt, Unbridled's Song – Siberian Fur, by Siberian Express. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. “He’s a big, two-turn-looking colt,” said Taylor Made’s Mark Taylor of this bay yearling, which is a half-brother to grade I winner Spoken Fur (by Notebook).”

Hip No. 48, yearling colt, Indian Charlie – Strike Rate, by Smart Strike  . Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. This bay yearling, out of a stakes-winning mare, is “beautiful,” according to Taylor and is from the family of Irish group II and American grade II winner Phantom Breeze.

Hip No. 59 Taste’s Sis, 5yo mare,Marquetry – Tastetheteardrops, by What Luck. Consigned by Pope McLean, agent. This winning bay mare, offered as racing or broodmare prospect, is a half-sister to grade I winner Taste of Paradise (by Conquistador Cielo), stakes winner Crafty Tears (by Crafty Friend), and stakes producers September Charmer (by Septieme Ciel) and Whitaker (by Torrrential).

Hip No. 66, yearling colt, Indian Charlie – Thiscatsforcaryl, by Storm Cat. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. This bay colt is a half-brother to stakes winner Be Like Mike (by Unbridled's Song).

Hip No. 88, yearling colt, Street Sense   – Venusberg, by Southern Halo. Consigned by Bluewater Sales, agent. This bay colt is out of a group I winner in Argentina and is a half-brother to the stakes-placed Noble Deeds (by Old Trieste), who also is a winner.

Hip No. 90, Victory Party, 4yo filly, Yankee Victor – Leslie’s Lady, by Tricky Creek. Consigned by Clarkland Farm. This unraced bay filly, consigned as a broodmare prospect, is a half-sister to grade I winner Into Mischief (by Harlan's Holiday).

Hip No. 97, yearling colt, Officer – Willa Dear, by Red Ransom. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. This bay colt is a half-brother to grade II winner Sherine (by Precise End).

Hip No. 105, yearling filly, Van Nistelrooy – Yousefia, by Danzig. Consigned by Hunter Valley Farm, agent. This bay filly is a half-sister to English group III winner Mythical Girl (by Gone West) and her dam is a stakes-winning full sister to English group I winner Green Desert.

This dark bay or brown yearling is by the successful stallion Seeking the Gold, who has been pensioned, and is a half-sister to stakes winner Hoosick Falls (by Precise End).

Hip No. 114, Anchors Away, 4yo filly, Smarty Jones   – Away, by Dixieland Band.. Consigned by Three Chimneys Sales, agent. This chestnut half-sister to grade II winner Eight Belles (by Unbridled's Song), who finished second in the Kentucky Derby Presented By Yum!  Brands (gr. I), is in foal to Sky Mesa  .

Hip No. 135, yearling filly, Sharp Humor – Bonkey, by Fit to Fight. Consigned by Buck Pond Farm, agent. This dark bay or brown yearling is a half-sister to grade III winner Sea of Tranquility (by Heff).

Hip No. 136, yearling filly, Henny Hughes – Boots ’n Jackie, by Major Moran. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. This bay yearling is out of a grade III winner and is a half-sister to grade II winner Supah Blitz (by Mecke) and stakes producer B. J. Telicus (by Pentelicus).

This bay yearling is a half-sister to grade III winner Dewars Rocks (by Big Mukora).

Hip No. 157, Charmant Forest, 8yo mare, Forestry – Charm a Gendarme, by Batonnier. Consigned by Dixiana. This unraced half-sister to grade I winner Tout Charmant (by Slewvescent) and grade III winner Forest Grove (by Forestry) is in foal to Songandaprayer. Her dam was a group III winner.\

Hip No. 166, yearling colt, Yes It’s True – Cold Awakening, by Dehere. Consigned by Three Chimneys Sales, agent. This dark bay or brown yearling is a half-brother to grade III winner Recapturetheglory (by Cherokee Run).

Hip No. 183, Distorted Passion, 5yo mare, Distorted Humor – Arianna’s Passion, by Unbridled’s Song. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. Offered as a broodmare or racing prospect, this bay mare scored by 1 1/2 lengths in the Interborough Handicap at Aqueduct Jan. 1 and has won two other added-money events, the 2009 Correction Handicap and the 2008 Foil Stakes, at the same track. “She really seems to thrive in cold weather,” said Taylor. “(Trainer) Todd Pletcher told us to tell whoever buys her to ‘send her back to me for another couple of races, even if they want to breed her this year.’ She’s sound and ready to go.”

Hip No. 187, Dracken, 6yo mare, Millennium Allstar – High On Believen, by Honor Grades. Consigned by Dixiana. This winning full sister to Canadian champion Dancing Allstar is in foal to Badge of Silver. Her first foal, a colt by Lion Heart, is being offered as Hip No. 187.
