The National Thoroughbred Racing Association announced July 10 it will host a Marketing Summit from Sept. 21-23 at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in Las Vegas.
The three-day conference will feature an update on NTRA strategic marketing initiatives and provide an interactive forum on an assortment of programs and issues.
Presentation and workshop topics include advertising and marketing, Web 2.0 strategies, the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship, the NHC Tour, legislative/regulatory issues impacting customers, promotions, television, public relations, and NTRA Advantage.
The Summit will begin with registration and a welcoming reception Sept. 21. NTRA president and chief executive officer Alex Waldrop will address Summit attendees the morning of Sept. 22, which will be followed by a full day of sessions. The program will conclude with a half-day session Sept. 23.
"This will be a valuable few days to meet with our membership and provide updates on a number of important topics," said Keith Chamblin, senior vice president of communications and industry relations for the NTRA. "It promises to be a lively gathering that will generate a great deal of enthusiasm and cooperation going forward."
