Tampa Bay Derby Impacts NTRA 3-Year-Old Poll

Street Sense and Any Given Saturday, the respective 1-2 finishers in the Tampa Bay Derby (gr. III), made the largest moves in the National Thoroughbred Racing Association’s weekly 3-Year-Old Thoroughbred Poll.

Following their successes March 17, Street Sense leaped from sixth to first in the poll and Any Given Saturday went seventh to fourth. Street Sense’s ascendance dropped Circular Quay from the top spot.

The Top 10, ranked on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 point scale, is based on the votes of Thoroughbred racing media representatives with rank last week in parenthesis after this week's ranking, horse name, first place votes (in parenthesis), race record (Starts-1st-2nd-3rd) through March 18 and points.
