Edited press release
Three Chimneys Farm owner Robert Clay announced Sept. 29 that the 2007 fee will increase for only one of the farm's stallions and that a decision on a fee for Albert the Great   would be made later this year.

The sole increase announced Friday was for Dynaformer, who was represented this year by Barbaro, winner of Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), will see his fee increased to $150,000 from the 2006 fee of $100,000.

"Dynaformer is, for the fifth year since 2001, a top five North American sire," Clay said. "He is the sire of Barbaro this year and he is in a class of his own in terms of his ability to get both dirt and turf runners of the highest caliber. His fee will be $150,000 live foal for 2007.

"Our stallions are having truly phenomenal years, but we have elected to keep the rest of the fees at 2006 levels or less," Clay continued. "Point Given   is the leading sophomore sire of 2006, and his fee will be a very attractive $30,000 live foal. This is a competitive business and we want to make sure our stallions are priced to compete favorably for the best mares, so we've been very realistic in setting our fees. Albert the Great has a colt in New York that could be any kind of horse, named Nobiz Like Shobiz. He runs in the Champagne Stakes on October 14 and we've elected to determine Albert the Great's fee closer to the November Sales."

All Three Chimneys fees are guaranteed live foal, payable Sept. 1, 2007.

The Three Chimneys fees for 2007 are:
Albert the Great  , To Be Determined
Dynaformer, $150,000
Medallist, $8,500
Point Given  , $30,000
Rahy, $60,000
Smarty Jones  , $100,000
War Chant  , $30,000
Yes It's True  , $35,000
