TVG's popular program, "The Works" will highlight the horse gaming network's 2005 Breeders' Cup World Thoroughbred Championships coverage. The series of six, one-hour shows will air at 11:00 a.m. EDT beginning Oct. 22 and continue through Oct. 27.
The network will also air on Fox Sports Net 2, Fox Sports New York, and Fox Sports Ohio. Check listings for times. The 22nd Breeders' Cup will be held Saturday, Oct. 29 at New York's Belmont Park.
Hosted from Belmont by Todd Schrupp, with analysts Frank Lyons and Tom Amoss, and reporters Ken Rudulph and Jill Byrne, "The Works" will offer same-day coverage of morning workouts of those horses expected to start in the eight Breeders' Cup races.
In addition, the program will also present interviews with owners, trainers, jockeys and other horseracing figures, as well as timely news and features about this year's event.
"The Works" is the most authoritative pre-Breeders' Cup program, offering viewers all the inside information on what is likely to happen on world Thoroughbred championship day," said Tony Allevato, TVG senior vice president and executive producer.
"The Works" is presented by the NTRA. Supporting sponsors include the AQHA, Brisnet.com, Claiborne Farm and Taylor Made Farm. Additional advertising partners include Coolmore, Fasig-Tipton Sales Company, Juddmonte Farms, and Stonewall Farm Stallions.
Also, Juddmonte Farms is presenting the daily, afternoon "Trackside Live!," Belmont Park coverage live from Belmont from October 22-29. WinStar Farm is presenting "Speed Zone," from Belmont on Friday evening Oct. 21, and in the afternoon from Oct. 22-28.
