Edited press releaseKentucky Off-Track Betting's facility in Pineville will celebrate its 10th anniversary this weekend of Sept. 2-4. The parlor is one of four operated by Kentucky OTB in the eastern half of the state.The celebration begins Sept. 2 with free programs and KOTB pens for all attendees, and more than $200 in mystery vouchers will be hidden inside select programs. On Sept. 3, all customers will receive free food and drinks and be eligible to enter one of several drawings for Triple Crown merchandise. The festivities will conclude Sept. 4 with free refreshments for all patrons.The 8,800-square-foot Pineville OTB parlor opened in September 1995. It houses more than 75 televisions, eight betting windows, and several self-service wagering machines. To date, the Pineville OTB has handled more than $51 million and contributed more than $510,000 to the city of Pineville and Bell County."The management and staff of KOTB want to use this weekend as a way to give back to the long-time patrons of Pineville's facility," Laura Prewitt, general manager of Kentucky OTB, said in a release. "But we also want to encourage the other members of Bell County and the surrounding area to come experience the excitement of simulcast racing and take advantage of our weekend festivities."
