Stormin Fever Colt Tops Sunday OBSC Drills

A colt by Stormin Fever   consigned by agent Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds worked a quarter mile in :21 4/5, fastest work at the distance in the final portion of the fourth session of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's 2005 Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training.

The dark bay or brown colt is out of Irish Dear, by Irish River (FR), and is a full brother to stakes winner Stormin Irish.

Three youngsters shared honors for the Sunday morning session's fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :10 2/5. Gone Prospecting, a bay colt by Way West (FR) consigned by agent Jockey Club Farm, is out of Gray Lady Dancer, by Gilded Time. He's a half sister to stakes winner Fappitass. Consigned by agent Maximum Yield, a dark bay or brown filly by Brahms out of G Waitin On O, by Brocco is a daughter of stakes winner Given. A bay filly consigned by agent Diane Allen is by Prime Timber out of stakes placed Honey Brown, by Topsider, and is a half sister to stakes placed Think Fast.

The day's fastest three eighths was :35 flat turned in by Hot Dinner, a bay colt by Formal Dinner out of stakes winner Fired Heater, by World Appeal, consigned by agent Wingate Sales Agency (France Weiner).

The entire under tack show's fastest three eighths was worked on Wednesday by a colt by Darn That Alarm consigned by agent Terry Oliver, who breezed the distance in :33 2/5. The gray or roan colt is out of Rumor Road, by Princely Pleasure, and is a half brother to stakes winner Current Gossip.

Three horses shared honors for the Under Tack Show's fastest quarter, stopping the timer in :20 4/5. At Wednesday's opening session it was a Sea of Secrets gelding consigned by agent Hoppels Horse & Cattle Co.. The bay gelding is out of stakes placed Reggie Lane, by Salem Drive. On Thursday, it was Morning Praise, a filly by Menifee consigned by agent Nick de Meric. The dark bay or brown filly is out of Sinful Morning, by Eastern Echo, a half sister to graded stakes winner Morning Meadow. The following day, it was Veta Cash, a filly by Stravinsky consigned by agent True South LLC. The dark bay or brown filly is out of Carefree Sid, by Thunder Gulch  .

Fourteen juveniles worked eighths in :10 1/5 at the under tack show.

The Spring Sale begins at 10:30 on Monday morning.
