Syndicate manager Robert Clay announced today that the 2005 stud fee for millionaire Yes It's True, Three Chimneys' newest stallion, will be $25,000 live foal at the Midway, Ky, farm.Currently one of the leading freshman sires, 8-year-old Yes It's True (Is It True--Clever Monique, by Clever Trick) stood the past season for $10,000 at Padua Stables near Summerfield, Fla. His son Proud Accolade won the Oct. 9 Champagne Stakes (gr. I) at Belmont Park. His other stakes winners include graded winner Chandtrue.
Three Chimneys' stallion fees will remain the same or decrease in 2008, the farm announced Oct. 12. Also, the farm will contractually limit the stallion books to 110 mares, as has been its informal custom.
