Graded stakes winner See How She Runs has been retired from racing with a record of eight wins from 19 starts and earnings of $586,990 for Josephine Abercrombie's Pin Oak Stud and trainer Donnie Von Hemel. The 5-year-old homebred daughter of Pin Oak stallion Maria's Mon has arrived at Pin Oak near Versailles, Ky., and will not be bred this year.

See How See Runs, who was retired sound, won her first five starts and was stakes-placed three times in eight starts her first year of racing. She captured that year's Selene (Can-I) and Fantasy (gr. II) Stakes as a 3-year-old in 2002. She also was a two-time stakes winner in 2003 and placed in a half-dozen stakes during her career. Produced from the stakes-placed mare Beau Cougar (by Cougar), See How She Runs is a half-sister to Canadian grass champion Hasten To Add.
