The Horse Races Now board of directors has appointed board member R. Scott Leeds as Interim chief executive officer effective immediately. Leeds is a founder and the chairman of Quorum Business Solutions and also directs the operations of the Walking L Ranch and Walking L Thoroughbreds.
Leeds takes the helm from Horse Races Now's founder and Thoroughbred trainer, Ken McPeek, and will oversee the company's continued growth through enhanced functionality, expanded user base, and strategic staff additions.

Leeds co-founded Quorum Business Solutions in 1998, growing the company from a start-up expert consultancy focused on the accounting requirements of natural gas processors to an industry leading provider of financial, operational and accounting software solutions for the integrated energy industry. Quorum's consistent growth has been regularly recognized through numerous awards and growth list inclusions. Prior to founding Quorum, Leeds worked at Andersen Consulting and Texaco. He was also a participant in the prestigious Birthing of Giants, the Entrepreneurial Executive Leadership Program co-sponsored by the MIT Enterprise Forum, Young Entrepreneurs Organization, and Inc.
