Multiple grade I winner Lady Eli, who returned to top form after missing more than a year due to a bout with laminitis, is among the grade/group I winners consigned to the upcoming Keeneland November breeding stock sale.
Trained by Chad Brown for Sheep Pond Partners, the 4-year-old daughter of Divine Park won the 2014 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. IT) during a six-race win streak. She subsequently developed laminitis, which can be fatal, and in her second start after the long layoff won Flower Bowl Stakes (gr. IT) Oct. 9, receiving a standing ovation from the Belmont Park crowd.
That victory, which followed a second in her Aug. 27 return in the Ballston Spa (gr. IIT), clinched a spot in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (gr. IT).
Lady Eli is consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency as Hip 466.
