Trio of stars logged drills Sept. 10.

California Chrome  wasn't the only star on the work tab Sept. 10 in Southern California.

Champions of 2015 Stellar Wind and Nyquist  both put in drills for upcoming starts, as did this year's Travers Stakes (gr. I) winner, Arrogate .

Hronis Racing's Stellar Wind, the champion 3-year-old filly of last year and last-out winner of the Clement L. Hirsch (gr. I) over three-time champion Beholder July 30 at Del Mar, logged her fourth drill in preparation for the Zenyatta Stakes (gr. I) Oct. 1 at Santa Anita Park, where she may encounter Beholder again.

The 4-year-old Curlin  filly covered five furlongs in 1:00 2/5 at Santa Anita for trainer John Sadler, working in company with a stablemate.

Reddam Racing's Nyquist, the champion 3-year-old male of 2015 and Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) winner, continued his training at San Luis Rey Training Center in north San Diego County with a mile move in 1:39 4/5. It was the Uncle Mo  colt's third straight mile work at San Luis Rey for trainer Doug O'Neill, following a fourth-place finish in the Haskell Invitational (gr. I). The first was in 1:45 4/5 Aug. 27 and the second was in 1:41 1/5 Sept. 3. He's expected to race next in the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby (gr. II) at Parx Racing.

Juddmonte Farms' Arrogate logged his first drill back at Santa Anita Saturday following his record-setting run in the Aug. 27 Travers. The Unbridled's Song colt ran a half-mile in :49 1/5 for Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert.
