The Racetrack Chaplaincy of America is seeking nominees for is White Horse Award, presented annually to an individual who has done something heroic on behalf of human or horse.
This year's 14th award ceremony is set for Nov. 3 at the Embassy Suites in Arcadia, Calif. More details and registration information will be available at a later date.
Nominees should have performed an act of heroism, either the headline-grabbing or quiet and not-so-obvious kind, between Sept. 1, 2015, and Aug. 31, 2016. RTCA also is seeking nominations for other honors to be presented: Tribute to Excellence and Community Service Award.
Nominations should be submitted to the RTCA National Service Center no later than Sept. 15, 2016, and either mailed to 2365 Harrodsburg Rd., Lexington, KY 40504 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
