A single winning ticket resulted in a Santa Anita Park Pick 6 payout of $1,478,942 May 30.
Officials at the California racetrack said the total pool was $2,386,736, and there were 228 consolation tickets with five winners that each paid $1,960.
The winning ticket, which covered races five through, was purchased for $2,160 at Meadowlands in northern New Jersey, officials said.
Meanwhile, there will be a $1,137,828 jackpot for the Golden Pick 6 at Golden Gate Fields when racing resumes June 3. Officials said there were three tickets that each hit $33,726 May 30 at Golden Gate. The jackpot, however, only pays if there is a single winning ticket with all six winners.
There will be a mandatory payout on the Golden Pick 6 June 12, closing day of the winter/spring meet at the Northern California track.
