The first reported foal for stakes winner The Hunk was born Jan. 19 at Broughton Farm in Midland, Texas, owners Jerry and Misti Broughton said Jan. 27.
The filly is out of stakes winning Texas-bred Native Annie, a daughter of Manzotti who won eight of her 16 starts, including six stakes, with earnings of $336,492.
The Hunk, a New Jersey-bred son of Speightstown , was a six-time winner from 19 starts. His final victory came in the 2012 John J. Reilly Handicap at Monmouth Park. A New Farm homebred, The Hunk earned $241,715 during his racing career.
The Hunk stands for a fee of $1,500 at Eureka Thoroughbred Farm in Fredericksburg, Texas.
