Two-time grade I winner Student Council is set to continue his stud career in Saudi Arabia in a deal brokered by Schumer Bloodstock.

A durable son of Kingmambo, Student Council won eight of 31 starts and earned $1,567,731 over five seasons of racing.

Trained by Steve Asmussen, he defeated a strong field, including Lava Man and Albertus Maximus , to win the 2007 Pacific Classic (gr. I) at Del Mar and in 2008 captured the Pimlico Special Handicap (gr. I). He also won the Hawthorne Gold Cup (gr. II) and placed in the Whitney Handicap (gr. I) and Hollywood Gold Cup (gr. I).

Student Council retired to Millennium Farms in Kentucky in 2009. His leading runners include multiple stakes winners Snappy Girl and Sister Ginger, as well as grade II-placed Restivity.

Student Council is a half brother to grade III winner Gradepoint and stakes winner Class Leader. They are out of grade II winner Class Kris, by Kris S and from the immediate family of grade I performers Wicked Strong  and Patriot Act.
