Godolphin Colt Remains Undefeated

Godolphin Racing's Noverre, a 2-year-old Kentucky-bred son of Rahy, remained undefeated in three career starts when he won Wednesday's TNT July Stakes (Eng-III) at Newmarket, England. Trained by David Loder, Noverre dueled with Media Mogul (by First Trump) in the stretch before winning a short head as the 5-2 favorite in the six-horse field. The final time for six furlongs over a good course was 1:13.06.

"This is a good horse with an excellent temperament and I'm sure he can go on from this," Loder told Sporting Life. "This performance is typical of the horseā€”he's really tough but he will never be a 10-length winner."

Produced from the Northern Dancer mare Daunseur Fabuleux, Noverre won the Prix La Fleche after breaking his maiden in France previous to the July Stakes.
