Diamond A Racing Corporation's Reciclada stalked the pace set by Go to the Ink before digging in gamely to win the Delta Air Lines Top Flight Handicap (gr. II) at Aqueduct on Friday. The 5-year-old Chilean-bred mare trained by Richard Mandella won by 1 1/4 lengths over Country Hideaway, with Critical Eye third.Ridden by Jerry Bailey as the even-money favorite, Reciclada completed the 1 mile in 1:35.54 and paid $4.10, $2.80, and $2.20. Country Hideaway was worth $3.40 and $2.20, and Critical Eye returned $2.30. The victory was the ninth in 21 career starts for Reciclada and her third win in 11 starts this year. Previous to the Top Flight, Reciclada was second in Chilukki's track record setting performance in the Churchill Downs Distaff handicap (gr. II) on the Breeders' Cup championship day card.
